Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She's an actress who has starred in a variety of television shows. She also excels in the world of film. The actress is well-known on Canadian as well as American TV. Emily began acting at 12 after she had a visit with her elder sister Katie in one of Katie's films. Once she discovered her passion for acting, she began to take acting classes, and then going for auditions. She began with some commercials, but soon got the role of a child actor in the Canadian TV horror series Are You Scared of Darkness? The show only featured her in only one scene and without dialogue. She got her first big break at the age of fifteen when she was spotted as a regular character on Glory Days, a WB program Glory Days. Emily's acting talent attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti when the show was canceled after just nine episodes. He subsequently cast Emily as a character on Everwood, his new TV show. Additionally, a dancer and photographer, Emily was once listed as a Teen in their list of best actors under 20. Emily was listed as number 51 on the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
